During the PC Gaming Show 2022, Nightdive Studios introduced a new introduction video between Remake of System Shockcurrently under development PC, PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PS4 and Xbox OneYou can view it in the player above.
System Shock is a remake of the unforgettable first-person action adventure from 1994 and will boast a completely revised interface and new sounds and music, along with a graphics sector rebuilt from the ground up and in high definition.
The trailer has a little bit of everything: action, horror, neon lights and of course the artificial intelligence SHODAN, who represents the main enemy of the game, will once again be voiced by Terri Brosius in the remake.
So where is the work on the System Shock remake? The game still doesn’t have a firm release date, but Warren Spector revealed during the PC Gaming Show that the title is: completely playable and that all elements are in place and the team is currently working on improving the game to launch it in “as perfect as possible” conditions.
