YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits has released a video clash to show the progress made by Turn10 graphics engine from Forza Motorsports compared to the previous episode, Forza Motorsport 7.
Microsoft chose the Maple Valley circuit from the previous episode to present Forza Motorsport. The game worked in detail on PC Ultra.
As you can see, thanks to photogrammetry, the graphics are much more detailed, the lighting system and shadows are now much more realistic and enjoyable. Like an entire river, many elements have been added around the circuit that make the look that much more satisfying. Cars have reflections everywhere and very rich details. The damage system has been completely overhauled and the damage to the bodywork is now much more realistic and better distributed. Atmospheric effects have also been improved with the introduction of dynamic weather and a day/night cycle.
In short, from a technical point of view it seems like a really good job from a team that has always excelled in that aspect.
Before we leave, we remind you that Forza Motorsport will launch for PC and Xbox in 2023.
