Known mainly for the co-op events of Warhammer: Vermintide 1 and 2, Fatshark Studios has been preparing another similar thread for some time now, this time set in the sprawling Warhammer 40,000 university and called Darktide.
The title was later celebrated during the Summer Game Fest when it featured footage directly from the game in the demo below.
However, some editors may have been able to touch the game a bit, and from the current impressions and the previews that have surfaced online, it looks like we have a lot to look forward to as the reviews are really positive.
But thanks to the PC Gamer website, after all, we can actually see how it’s all played through recording the progress of one whole mission.
She offers perspective of two game classes (Veteran and Fanatic – there will be four in total in the game), which clearly shows the brutal action that combines melee and ranged combat.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is out September 13 on the PC and Xbox Series X/S.
