Following the announcement earlier this month, Capcom is releasing another trailer, which this time also offers footage from the Resident Evil 4 remake.
Fans will immediately notice one big change. The protagonist Leon S. Kennedy can move while aiming.. At least that’s what it says in the video. If true, this is a fundamental change from the 2005 original.
Another difference darker environment, where Leon sneaks on the demonstration. It is a dense and dangerous forest. Capcom wants players to feel even more alone and afraid of not knowing what awaits them. Of course, there will be exciting fights.
“The experience of being attacked by hordes of insane enemies is a truly iconic Resident Evil moment” said development department head Yasuhiro Anpo during today’s presentation. “To capture the concept of insanity-dominated horror, the enemies have been completely redesigned.”
Unfortunately, he has not said how they will be recycled. Instead, he reaffirmed the iconic shoulder camera and Leon’s signature jacket.
We also received a short story overview where the creator reiterated that they intend to rework the story while maintaining the direction of the game, modernize the graphics, and update the controls to a modern standard..
It’s also important to note here that Resident Evil 4 Remake will stick to the style created by the second and third episode remakes.
