Resident Evil 8 DLC story continues from the very end

More than a year after its release, it was successful Resident Evil 8 Finally, experience the expansion of the story. 28 of October because it will be released Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition. A sort of imaginary final package of the game, which will include both the original title and Winter Expansion.

The extension will contain three pieces of content. The first and most important is the expansion of the story called rose shadows. It will be based on the events of the original game, and in particular, as Rose, we will try to get rid of her special abilities that she was born with. For example, we will return to Lady Dimitrescu’s castle. Specifically, we will find ourselves in the mind of Megamycetes and, accompanied by the mysterious Michael, we will literally survive in the empire that is against us.

Shadows of Rose can be played entirely in third person.

The second part of Winter’s Expansion will be dedicated to the additional game mode The Mercenaries, as part of the so-called Additional orders. So there are new arenas waiting for us, but the most interesting thing is that we will be able to play as Chris Redfield, Karel Heisenberg and Lady Dimitrescu. Each of the characters should be unique, which, perhaps, could spice up the gameplay of this mode.

The last part of the addition will be third person view. But the short trailer (see below) shows that it’s not just about switching cameras. We have to look forward to new animations and other aspects to complete the third person view.

As already mentioned, Winter’s Expansion will be released on October 28th. However, we do not yet know how much it will cost on its own, how and how much the announced Gold Edition will cost. But maybe we’ll find out soon enough. On the same day, after long delays, the multiplayer will finally be released Reversewhich every game owner has for free.

Today, Capcom is also releasing free next-gen upgrades for Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake, and Resident Evil 7. Learn more here.
