If you’re still hoping for a second STALKER to catch up this year, don’t look at the game schedule that will enrich the Game Pass offering this year and next. STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is now among the games that will be released during 2023, which is June 12, 2023.. To be clear, STALKER 2 is not a game that clearly falls under Microsoft. GSC Game World Studio is still independent, and no one has said a word about the exclusivity of Microsoft paid consoles. And so now all indications are that the absence of a PlayStation 5 version is primarily due to the limited capabilities and resources of the creatorswho decided to focus on PC first and only one of the currently available consoles – Xbox Series X | S. However, GSC has long relied on a second STALKER to be part of the Game Pass offering from the release date., which undoubtedly attracts many people who would not otherwise venture into the Zone. Therefore, it can be assumed that Microsoft, as the operator of Game Pass, has up-to-date information.
All this must, of course, be taken with a margin, the official announcement of the postponement for 2023 has not yet been receivedbut almost everyone takes it as a done deal. As such, reviewing the games heading to the Game Pass library is yet another reason for fans to brace themselves for a longer wait. However, we believe that we were all prepared for this from the very beginning of the war.
