The Paper House and Lady’s Gambit will have a video game, and these aren’t the only Netflix commercials
A total of 12 adventures announced the home of Stranger Things and The Witcher: series in Geeked Week 2022.
After days of announcements in movies and television series, Netflix today closed Geeked Week 2022 with its full attention to one of the key growth pillars for the coming months: the landing of video games for iOS and Android mobiles with free access for all subscribers of the platform users in their catalogs by the end of the year. It’s an effort they’re committed to having over 50 titles. Will they get it? They’ve submitted a dozen proposals to date, highlighting two experiences based on two of the most successful series: Money Heist and Lady’s Gambit; but there is much more to tell.
Guaranteed success on mobile phones given their authors: the creators of Monument Valley. Also confirmed for PC, Desta: The Memories Between offers iOS and Android users a turn-based strategy video game inspired by dodgeball. Overcome failed relationships and a tragic family affair with an exciting and surreal ball game. There is no date.
The Queen’s Gambit sparked the desire of few to master the art of chess a year ago. Now, this video game aims to help them hone their skills in this board game by taking lessons, facing puzzles and competing with online opponents and familiar faces straight from the award-winning mini-series. It is not yet known when the game will be available on Netflix.

Basically a dating simulator, the appeal of adapting this Netflix reality show: It’s So Hot, Playing With Fire in Spain. There isn’t much to write about, but the actress is invited to travel to the villa of her dreams as you swipe left on a cast of sexy singles vying for their love, all without breaking any strict rules and with a via reward. It will come in 2023.
Money Robbery
“It won’t be all relaxation and romance.” Netflix brings you a first look at House of Paper, an action-adventure video game in which players must open safes, unlock locks and collaborate on a heist in a Monaco casino. “Everything to telegraph an old friend of the Professor,” they say. It has a graphic cartoon style and currently has no release date.
Not only adaptations of successful Netflix series have been announced. Also, nice suggestions like this Lucky Luna, an action and platforming adventure inspired by Japanese folklore, where we are called to accompany Luna on a magical journey deep into hidden dungeons and legendary temples as she explores the mysteries of her past. Release date unknown.
Now only available to Netflix subscribers, Poinpy is a vertical arcade game from the creator of the award-winning Downwell where you jump nonstop, avoid some cute badasses and feed the hot blue monster on your heels. “Warning: The more you play, the harder things get!” They warn, but you can gain and unlock skills as you progress through the game.
Shadow and Bone: Destinies
“From the shadow comes a new mobile game based on the popular series.” This offering is presented as a narrative RPG for a single player, where you can enter the appearance of some of the show’s heroes as you travel through the world of Grishaverse. Shadow and Bone: Destinies is still in an early stage of development and is expected to be released on Netflix in 2023.

Raji’s upcoming Netflix landing has also been confirmed: An Ancient Epic, an action adventure set in ancient India; Spiritfarer, a management game about death in which we are the masters of a steamer carrying spirits; Terra Nil is a reverse city building game where you restore the natural ecosystem in man-made wastelands; Wild Things: Animal Adventure is a match-3 puzzle adventure in the style of Candy Crush Saga and Reigns: Three Kingdoms, where you rule your own kingdom and change fate with a flick of your finger.
Plus, Netflix is embracing video games with its TV series, and today it’s announcing Castlevania: Nocturne, Dragon Age: Absolution, and releasing a trailer for Tekken: Lineage.
