Developers from the Italian studio Milestone recently boasted of buying the rights to participate in the World Superbike Championship (WSBK). Therefore, the announcement of the title itself was only a matter of time.
The newly revealed game is called SBK 22 and is expected to offer a full roster of bikes, teams, riders and tracks for the current superbike season. Thanks to this, the track in the Bridge will not disappear either. The authors still promise realistic physics and a penchant for simulation.
In terms of content, the game should offer a challenging career with a focus on bike development and team management. Multiplayer fans may be pleased online racing up to 12 players. Among other things, the SBK 22 will borrow the ANNA artificial intelligence system from its sister MotoGP series, which Milestone has been keeping under control for many years.
SBC 22 will be released September 15 on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The last part of licensed superbikes with the subtitle Generations came out in 2012, so this year the brand will return in exactly ten years. The very first part of the Milestone Studios series, in collaboration with Electronic Arts, came out in 1999.
