With a tweet, Shaun Escayg Naughty Dog has announced that it is working on it. Remake of The Last of Us Part 1 aspect creative director. He’s held the same role for Marvel’s Avengers and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy in the past.
Escayg worked at Naughty Dog from 2011 to 2018 and was the creative director of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, among other things. He then moved to Crystal Dynamics, where he took on the same role as Marvel’s Avengers writer.
In April 2021, Escayg announced his return to Naughty Dog, and today we discovered he was working on a remake of The Last of Us Part 1.

The Last of Us Part 1 was announced with a trailer at Summer Game Fest last night. It will be available on PS5 from now on September 2 and a PC version with no release date is currently in the works.
