Layers of fear coalesce into a horror chronicle

Horror fans come to their senses at Summer Game Fest, genre experts from Polish studio Team Blueber (authors of The Medium, Observer and Blair Witch) presented Layers of fear. This is not surprising since this game has been confirmed several times before. The surprise is that this is not a new part, but a reboot.

On Unreal Engine 5, the original creators of the two-part series, in collaboration with Anshar Studios they are coming remake of the previous two parts (plus DLC) in one package for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The Bloober team calls it everything Chronicle of psychological horror. We look forward to new visual, modern gameplay and storyline expansion. New stories are designed to shed new light on the scary story. You will face a chilling madness that has been going on for generations.

The trailer suggests that the developers have transformed the events of Layers of Fear 1 and 2 and combined them together. The first part follows an artist about to complete his masterpiece, while the second part follows an actor making a film aboard an ocean liner that turns into a terrifying maze.

The new Layers of Fear will be released in early 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
