There is no E3 this year, just as there was no two years ago. It replaces it with more and more popular Summer Games Festival Geoff Keighley, which starts today. Last year, the traditional video game fair was held only in an online format, which was also widely criticized. Currently Stan Pierre-Louisorganization president ESAtold the Washington Post that in a year we will see E3 in both physical and digital versions.

Pierre-Louis did not even comment on the shape of E3, which in 2020 was supposed to turn into an event focused mainly on fans and influencers. Although it was ultimately canceled due to the pandemic, there was a lot of backlash against the plans. The question remains whether the organizers’ vision has changed since then.
