Over time, there were rumors about a supposed remake of the first The Last of Us. This time they get attention insider with the nickname The Snitchwho has come up with a couple of interesting leaks in recent days. First of all, it was about premature disclosure of the list of gameswhich appeared in the last state of the game. This leak was accurately executed.
In just a few days The Snitch on Twitter published a post with text OVERDOSAGE. According to Tom Henderson, we are now associating this name with Hide Kojima’s upcoming game. It is interesting, however, that The Snitch published his post before the mentioned text by Tom Henderson. Thus, at the very least, these two cases suggest that the information from Snitch may have come from a well-informed source.
Now The Snitch is focusing on the aforementioned The Last of Us remake. The last post on Twitter clearly says that the improved version of the first The Las of Us will arrive on September 2 this year. Also, the expected PS5 version should be complemented by the PC version.

A few hours later, well-known journalist and authoritative insider Jeff Grubb also commented on the latest rumors about a remake of The Last of Us. On his GrubSnax podcast (time 1:13:00), he responded to a direct question from a viewer that his information matches what The Snitch posted on Twitter.
Aside from the release date, it’s mostly pretty amazing information that The game will be released on both PlayStation and PC on the same day.. PC gamers will see a rather unexpected premiere of the series on their platform. In theory, we could expect official confirmation today during Summer Game Fest.
Recall that the possible release of a remake of The Last of Us in the summer was discussed at the beginning of this year.
