Since release Army reforger in a preliminary approach, the Bohemia Interactive studio offers several in the Workshop mod samples that give players and modders a better idea of what can be done with the Enfusion engine. So these are a few examples that community developers can use themselves, but thanks to them, everyone can easily load up a new weapon, a Volkswagen Golf or a modified AK with a rather peculiar behavior. However, he has recently enriched the offer of mode samples. something that most players in the Arma series probably wouldn’t be looking for.

You will now find a single project in the Workshop. unearthwhich is basically a game within a game and can easily be described as Minesweeper alias Archaeological search for mines. This is the result of a weekly game jam held at the Amsterdam branch of Bohemia Interactive, and this is the most significant a demonstration of how far you can go modding with the Enfusion engine and the Workbench toolkit. And this demo can be played not only on PC, but also on Xbox.
The creators of the branch that created the Laws of War, Contact and Art of War expansions for Arma 3 emphasize that Hexcavate does not hire developers who directly work on the much needed improvements and further development of the Army Reforger.. Rather, modding was a way for some of the studio staff to become more familiar with the Enfusion engine. At the same time, Hexcavate aims for the easy and fast creation of a small game in the engine, as well as Enfusion’s scripting options, the quick creation or import of custom objects, or the flexibility of the sound effects and particle effects editor.
The result was a kind of act, which is neither in content nor visually similar to the content of the Army Reforger itself. If you’ve ever played Minesweeper, you already have a pretty good idea of what to expect from Hexcavate.. However, the project differs from the legendary model, for example, by the gradual deepening of the terrain, the availability of funds, or the already mentioned archaeological theme. While digging you will come across various subjects with relatively detailed descriptions that often refer to the country of origin of most of the authors.
Looking for bike wrecks, ancient coins, skulls or unexploded bombs, you can easily learn about the past and present of the Netherlands. There are also some Easter eggsand not only in the description of certain objects. Therefore, finding an indestructible Nokia 3310 or a capsule with items inspired by current games from Bohemia Interactive is not a problem. In any case, the creators hope that all this will inspire the creators of the community. and show them what can be created in a relatively short time. So now we have to wait for what comes from this inspiration.
