With the launch of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen and the introduction of Void 3.0 and Solar 3.0, subclasses are now more relevant and, importantly, more flexible than ever – hence our Destiny 2 Hunter build guide. But in an ever-changing universe like Destiny 2, chasing ever-changing “meta” can feel like chasing wild geese. In the dark. on the ice.
However, while meta is meta for a reason, it’s not the only way to play, and it’s often not the most fun either. Destiny 2 includes a wide variety of weapons, armor, skills, subclasses, and mods to play with. While collecting everything possible will take countless hours of combining, we’ll give you some great starting points for getting the most out of everyone’s favorite stabby space ninjas.
Please note that this Destiny 2 hunter structure The guide will focus on endgame gear, mods, and skills, but we’ll only try to exclude hard-to-obtain gear like Raid Exotics.
Destiny 2 Hunter Build for pve
perhaps best Destiny 2 Hunter build This is the Frozen Harvest Stasis version for PvE in Season of the Haunted.
- Subclass: Recession income
- Main status: discipline
- Secondary stats: recovery
- Grenade: dusk
- Class Strength: Dodge Players
- Perspectives : A touch of winter, brutal harvests
- room: Whisper of Frost, Whisper of Fractures, Whisper of Chains, Whisper of Torment, Whisper of Guidance or Rifts
- Exotic Armor: Any (Wormhusk Crown, Renewal Grasps, or Stomp-EE5 are perfect defaults)
- weapons: An exotic submachine gun like the Riskrunner or the Osteo Striga from The Witch Queen will do just fine. Save everything that makes the current event champions.
- Changes: It’s really up to you, but the light-charged armor makes this particular build terrific in PvE. Place Discipline mods on each armor, then access Quest Take, Wisdom Font, High Energy Fire, Firepower, and Elemental Charge. Make sure you have the relevant seasonal mods up your sleeve.
The point of this build is to always keep your grenade on top. Grim Harvest causes frozen or slowed enemies to drop Stasis Crystals upon death, and a Duskfield Grenade grants that status to any enemy in its dome. The really cool part is what Fragments do. Whisper of Rime grants a share of Overshield for each crystal you collect; Whisper of Shards increases your grenade charge rate for each grenade; and Whisper of Chains reduces damage taken near Stasis Crystals.
The reason we recommend Winter Touch over the excellent Disintegrator Dive in PvE is that, in addition to the enhanced grenade effects, the extra Fragment slot means you get both Whisper Grind (charging the grenade when you take damage) and Transmission Whisper (shoot) . crystals towards you) or Whisper of Fissures (increases damage and explosion radius of broken crystals).
Combined with the Charged with Light mods discussed above, which increase damage, boost speed, and grenade energy charge speed, this build becomes one of the most devastating late game builds of Hunter for solo, group and even PvP events. Although in PvP you might want to throw in some of the Charged with Light mods for defense and disable Touch of Winter for Shatterdive. It doesn’t matter what weapon you choose – pick something you’re comfortable with. The Stomp-EE5 is a great Exotic as it has high mobility by nature without sacrificing Discipline.
DESTINY 2 HUNTER BUILD for pvp
For us, best Destiny 2 Hunter build For PvP in Season of the Haunted, this is the Phantom Menace Void version.
- Subclass: Void Nightstalker
- Main status: strength
- Secondary stats: mobility
- Grenade: Breaker
- Class Strength: dodge snipers
- Perspectives : Not disappearing, stylish executioner
- room: Echo of Leeches, Echo of Domination, Echo of Expulsion, Echo of Exchange
- Exotic Armor: Graviton Forfeit, Gemini Jester or Gwisin Vest
- weapons: each
- Changes: Charged with Light is less relevant in PvP. Instead, you can focus on aiming, wielding, and reloading your favorite weapons with mods.
Unlike the PvE structure, this build revolves around Hunter’s enhanced mobility, penchant for invisibility, and using his ability to suppress and confuse to gain the upper hand. A skilled Nightstalker is an absolute threat in game modes like Control and even Trials of Osiris. Suppression Grenades are great for dealing with other Guardians, and Echo of Domination maximizes their effectiveness by increasing mobility and reloading your current weapon after suppressing a target. Echo of Leeching activates health regeneration after a melee kill; it’s great if you find yourself in a close encounter. Echo of Expulsion adds an explosive effect to your Void’s final hits, while Echo of Exchange restores bomb energy with melee hits.

As for the elements, Horizon Step grants invisibility to Dodge, and Stylish Executioner grants invisibility and True Sight after killing a weakened, suppressed, or fugitive target. Frankly, this build is deadly when combined with certain Exotics. For example, Gwisin Vest eliminates you after each Spectral Blade kill; Graviton Forfeit improves stealth and Gemini Jester impairs enemy radar. Overall, this build is a lot of fun on Crucible. It doesn’t matter what weapon you choose, but Exotic weapons like the Osteo Striga, Thorn, and Le Monarque add an extra level of brutality if you’re so keen.
Destiny 2 Hunter is designed for all activities
Someone best Destiny 2 Hunter builds This Searing Blade Solar 3.0 Hunter built for any Risen Season activity.
- Subclass: Musketeer – Blade Barrage

- Secondary stats: discipline
- Grenade: each
- Class Strength: Dodge Players
- stability: knife trick
- Perspectives : Knock ’em Down, Gunpowder Gambling
- room: Embers of Embers, Embers of Consolation, Embers of Torch
- Exotic Armor: Pieces of Galanor or the Sixth Jackal
- weapons: One of the best weapons in Destiny 2 (preferably solar)

With Solar 3.0 Hunters can become even deadlier as they speed across the battlefield and fire big DPS to mow down crowds and surprise enemy Guardians with insane pyrotechnic displays.
This particular build relies entirely on endless throwing blades, burns, and shards. Ember of Torches will make you glow after landing powerful melee hits, which will refund your melee ability through Knock ‘Em Down. This attribute also adds more shells to Blade Barrage, which returns a massive amount of super energy when using Shards or Galanor Exotic weapons.
Equip the Gunpowder Gamble Skin to add Spicy Resonance by charging a Power Grenade with each Solar kill. When you’re ready, toss a pack of explosives that can explode in the air to deal massive damage and inflict loads of burn marks. It is as beautiful as it looks.
The Melee Knife Trick is most popular in PvE for mobs, but you might want the Weighted Knife in PvP for more accuracy. Ideally, you should keep moving, swinging knives, and recharging your skills with grenade attacks, Gambler’s Dodge, and Solar finishing blows when you’re guaranteed to kill.
