Lego tributes are a popular way for fans to show their love for their favorite games, and that’s exactly what one building game enthusiast did with the Lego Terraria build they slowly refined. Reddit user aaadvancednerd started with a tiny house concept based on an indie game and gradually added additional elements to his design, creating a large multi-part stage.
The first build, posted by aaadvancednerd on the RPG subreddit, was a simple house with four walls, a chair, a table, and a workbench. The game guide hides inside while another character fights various slugs on the roof of the building. The post proved popular, leading them to continue the scene with an armored figure holding back several zombies and flying demon eyes.
Fans responded that they’d especially like to see a recreation of the big boss from the Eye of Cthulhu, and one advanced nerd responded with an impressive design of two characters facing off against a giant toothy monster. Noteworthy is its attention to detail, faithfully replicating the general building techniques and battle arena layouts used by players, and the builds cleverly use all sorts of individual Lego pieces and bricks to approximate the textures from the game.
Its latest update features two sets, including its first attempt at underground mods, and a decorated two-story house for the game’s trader, ore, and the sporadic wall and floor torch placement you’d expect from a typical Terraria expedition. . It’s unclear how big this project will grow, but we’re secretly hoping to see how other areas of the map develop, like the Jungle and Crimson biomes.
Another hard working Lego creator was working on the Lego Minecraft stop motion animation project. The two survival games also clashed recently over news that a former Minecraft modder has been hired to work on tools for Terraria mods. Recently, a player managed to fly Terraria hard in a rather unusual way.
