Ubisoft is betting on similar principles with its Roller Champions game. As the name suggests, this time our champion will use roller skates to get around.

In a three-on-three duel, we are thrown into an elliptical arena and we try to hit the target with a ball. The goal is the same for both teams, but is activated for this team only if 4 parts of the field pass without the opponent catching the ball.

These parts form exactly one chain, and they do not need to be passed explicitly, but the ball must be passed through them, so the entries also count. Opponents are with you of course they will have no mercy. All you need is one good point and you will lose not only the ball, but also your balance, and then you can run from them to opponents with the ball. And throw it through the gate.

It also depends on how many rounds you manage to do as a team with a balloon in your hand. If you complete one round and swap the gates, you will receive one point. However, if you like to take risks and manage to manage two bikes, you get three points. And if fear means nothing to you, pure art or madness drives you and you manage to score after three laps, then you win. Because such a pass is worth 5 points, and this is exactly the limit that your team needs to win.

I have to say that this whole concept is like original, so functional. Instead of experience, you get rewards in the game for the number of fans behind you. You get them for playing, winning, or completing partnership agreements, which is similar to simple tasks like “play ten matches” or “score five goals in a day.”

Of course, when you have thousands of fans behind you, you will not play in a regular stadium, the places of your matches change depending on your fame. You’ll be able to try Roller Champions from today when the game goes public after two years of testing (so we don’t know exactly what they’ve been preparing for so long because two years ago when we tested the game it was the same…) . So if Ubisoft does not stop this project, we are waiting promising, sporty, competitive game. The graphic design is very successful and is supported by dynamic music that will excite you before each round.

Nothing much to read, perhaps just a form of attack. To knock the ball out of your opponent’s hands, you must hit him with your body. It’s not difficult at all, it’s even more annoying, but you can use this effective influence very often without much punishment. If you don’t hit twice in a row, your character will fall to the ground for a while. You can learn to play against him, you can miss your opponents or with good timing. pirouette and strike Avoid this, but it doesn’t always work. There are just special moves that will affect the game, you can crouch and pick up speed, there are even marked places in the stadium that will remind you where you pick up speed best.

You can jump up and block the bullet in goal or, and this is my favorite jersey, you can grab your teammate by the waist and then bounce off him and pick up some really fast speed. So these options will give you plenty of tactics to win. We praise the dynamism of the game, the music, the simple and working concept. As for the adjustments, you can buy a few nice things at your discretion, but there are not many of them yet. The money upgrades are still cosmetic and I don’t really remember if any of the progressive upgrades could have given an advantage in the game itself.

Of course we could see before the release Battle Passbut we don’t even have to talk about it. Today it is almost a matter of course.

The game optimization is great, which is to be expected from Ubisoft since I haven’t played a badly optimized multiplayer game from Ubisoft. Unfortunately, when it comes to server optimization, the opposite is true.

We played the game on both the gamepad and the keyboard, and both options suited us. But if I had to lean towards any kind of control, it would be control. While Gonzas was much more comfortable with the keyboard.

I would not call Roller Champions a Rocket League competition, but it will definitely find its fans and this is something new again. So it depends on us, the players and Ubisoft, what the future of the game will be. The game is free, so there’s nothing stopping us from meeting at the circuit, scoring a few goals and they wiped the floor.
