Mario Strikers Battle League is the latest in the long-running Mario sports franchise, and the regular cast of characters is back with new additions. It’s been a long time since the last Mario Strikers game, so the Mario Strikers Battle League roster includes much more modern Mario characters like Rosalina.
But as expected, the character cast is back in Mario Strikers Battle League, so you can expect to play as your favorite character. However, if you’re a fan of some of the characters in the cast who aren’t part of Mario’s close-knit group of friends, you might be disappointed.

Mario Strikers Battle League Squad
From now on, Mario Strikers Battle League roster includes 11 playable characters† These:
- Mario
- Louis
- gas pump
- sin
- Rosaline
- Path
- yoshi
- donkey kong
- war
- waluigi
- boom boom
Both Mario and Luigi are characters with technical strengths. However, Donkey Kong and Waluigi are defense-based characters that are better at not attacking and are quite strong at guarding the target and blocking opponent shots.
Wario and Bowser are physical characters that involve catching, stealing, and capturing the ball from their opponents. From there, Rosalina and Yoshi are the best on offense, while Peach and Toad are faster than most other characters.
Finally, Boom Boom is the default keeper to protect your goal in a match.
