Thanks to the success film unknownearning more than $400 million, and the hype that provoked the shooting of television series The Last of Uswe are not surprised that Sony is showing increasing interest in this market segment and sees it as an opportunity to expand its brands even among those who are not a player.

While The Last of Us is being prepared by HBO, Horizon will take care of it Netflix and God of War will appear on Amazon Prime Video. The Gran Turismo series does not yet have a confirmed service, it is assumed that negotiations are still ongoing.

Personally, I would like the Horizon series to focus on the story of the fearless hero Aloy in the world that we know from Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West. God of War directly supports the story of the rebel Krath and his son from the last game. What about Gran Turismo? There, I could imagine the story of a young driver who wants to fulfill his dreams and win the Gran Turismo championship.
A film based on the samurai action-adventure Ghost of Tsushima, a Twisted Metal series, and a film starring Jake and Daxter have all been previously confirmed.
