Not so long ago, Aspyr bought the Beamdog studio, but it has not yet been officially confirmed that Beamdog will work on a remake of Knights of the Old Republic. But of course it Saber Interactive is involved in development, announced Matthew Karch of Embracer Group during the latest report to investors. Embracer Group owns both Aspyr and Saber Interactive, so bringing in an American studio with subsidiaries in Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Belarus and Russia to create a remake of Knights of the Old Republic definitely makes sense.
And Saber Interactive can be considered a studio that primarily deals with porting already released games to various platforms.but we find a blessed number of titles in his portfolio. The Sorcerer 3: The Wild Hunt and Kingdom Come: Deliverance for Switch, Crysis trilogy remaster, Quake ChampionsHalo: The Master Chief Collection on PC, MudRunner Mobile, SnowRunner, TimeShiftEvil Dead: The Game, Saber Interactive has it all and more. The studio even worked at one time on expected next generation sorcerer update 3however, its development was recently transferred directly to the CD Projekt RED studio, allegedly because the Russian branch of Saber was in charge of the upgrade.
At the same time, Karch called Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – Remake a mass product, and in Aspyr he said that he did everything possible to create the best game possible. Concerns about whether Aspyr was enough for the job seemed justified.. “When we bought Aspyr, we knew from the beginning that he would need our help,” Matthew Karch said. According to him, Saber Interactive has considerable experience in creating these types of gaming products, but since the creators have to completely redo the entire game, it takes a lot of time and effort. Yet We will know more about the project in the next few months.. Maybe during the Summer Game Fest?
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – Remake it doesn’t have a release date yet, but is currently in development for PC and PlayStation 5. PS5 console exclusivity is temporary in this case.unfortunately, we still don’t know what period it covers.
