Hell was Imperial’s choice, but not as it appeared in the game. Copenhagen Flames dominated the match as counter-terrorism specialists regardless of their opponents and went 13-2 in the first halftime, inspired by Zyphon, roeJ and nicoodoz.
In the second half, the already brilliant trio brought the ball to the Danes, and after just two rounds they secured the elastic 16-2 victory.

As with Inferno, Vertigo was not easy for Imperial. In fact, the start of the match brought some balance between the teams, with the score close to 4 v 3, but soon after, the European attack prevailed and they shot 9 v 3. The situation could have been worse, but in the closing rounds of the first leg, the Emperors finally woke up and clinched a 9–6 run, running a three-point run.
Hopes were rekindled in the half after Imperial stalled at 9-8 but a 4k win from Nicodoz put CPH Flames on the path to victory again, paving the way for the team to move to 12-8. However, that moment didn’t scare Last Dance, who again approached round-by-round first to reach 15th rather than 16th as the Flames chased a 15-15 draw.
It was the Copenhagen team that excelled in extra time. They were far ahead in the first, but they couldn’t escape Brazilian heroism. In the latter, however, they were deadly with a 0-3 from TR and 1-0 from CT, in addition to 2-0 in the series, completing the overall score of 22-18.

The CS:GO PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Legends Stage will take place in person in Belgium from May 14-17. In the second stage of the tournament, 16 teams, including Brazilians Imperial and FURIA, seek one of the eight Champions Stage places.
