Kerbal Space Program 2 delayed again

The Kerbal Space Program was incredibly popular at the time. After all, there aren’t many games that perfectly combine realistic rocket design and behavior with fun. Back in 2019, a second episode was announced at Gamescom, which was supposed to have a lot of new content. Initially, Star Theory studio worked on it, but soon everything got confused. There were delays and even an exchange of studies.

Intercept Games is currently working on the game, and the management and some of the staff are moving from the old studio right here to continue working on the project. Unfortunately, KSP2 didn’t avoid delays after that, and on Monday we learned that another one was coming.

The developers announced that Kerbal Space Program 2 will be released at the beginning of 2023, first on PC and later that year on console PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.

Creative director Nate Simpson simply said the developers needed more time. Internally, they have set high standards and want to create the best possible game, even if that means they need extra time.
