Friday’s escape of images from a new game in the Silent Hill series seems to have set off a chain reaction. Other, more or less well-known liqueurs and journalists also reacted to information from the Dusk Golem insider. But on Monday another bomb came, this time from the VGC magazine, which has proven to be a very reliable source of information in the past. Editor Andy Robinson added a lot of detail.
But let’s start somewhere else. This morning, a NateTheHate insider revealed that remake of Silent Hill 2 will be created in the Polish studio Bloober Team with redesigned puzzles and new endingsneed to go on temporary exclusivity for PlayStation. This information was subsequently confirmed by journalist Jeff Grubb, who reportedly heard it from several sources, and was also confirmed by Robinson in a VGC article. Not much of a surprise, game developers like The Medium or Observer already partnered with Konami last year, and due to their specialization in horror films, the development of a new game in the Silent Hill series is clearly on the table.
This is what I heard and it comes from different sources. Not all of my sources are primary, but basically everything is the same. For me, the biggest indicator is what I saw when Konami did a big presentation at E3 last year before it came out. https://t.co/GzUb3jzrwX

However, as Dusk Golem said earlier, there are more projects, and this is where the new information from VGC comes from. The second game should be episodic story series. Supermassive Games was originally supposed to work on the project earlier, but their concept was eventually scrapped, with the British developers instead creating the ongoing anthology The Dark Pictures.
According to the Supreme High Command, the second project was supposed to go to the publishing house Annapurna Interactivebehind games like Outer Wilds, Solar Ash or Telling Lies. However, Robinson adds that it’s unclear if the company, which specializes mainly in art titles, actually received the project and suffered the same fate as Supermassive.
The third project should be according to VGC full continuation of the main series. This must be the game he’s developing japanese studiowhich was discussed last year, but the magazine does not provide further details.
Where do you think the earlier screenshots come from? Well, surprisingly none of the named projects. VGC is finally shedding some light on Dusk Golem’s earlier tweet that talked about the 3.5 projects. The last one should be pt style game with code Sakura. This is about free title, the purpose of which is to please the players with the three major projects mentioned above. Friday screenshots should be taken by Sakura.
Apparently back in 2018, Konami’s idea to make 2 SH games that I reported eventually turned into a 3.5 project and something of a copycat to revive the franchise.

Now the only question is when Konami will officially announce all this. Last year, the Japanese company was supposed to hold a conference as part of E3, but ended up canceling it. Will we see it this year?
