The game that scared me the most when I got to the astral center of the map, which is very similar to the one in Balan Wonderworld’s messy jumping game. Brrrr this was definitely the worst game of 2021. Luckily for us, In Nightmare is by no means trying to follow in the footsteps of this infamous game. Nightmare say it’s a horror adventureAlthough I myself would describe it more as a sneak simulator enriched with light logic puzzles and collectibles. The developers almost forgot the story, because the opening scene is literally just a childish look at the parents, who suddenly disappear, and a scary lady appears in their place. Players should probably take it how they like. The only second purely story scene is when I miss the terribly long loading time at the end of the game where our protagonist just spins weird and wants to double in the dark – exactly eight seconds of the sight of a man lying in bed, starting to fidget. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is really like Balan Wonderworld because no one knows what the hell is going on! The only difference between the two titles is that In Nightmare contains letters and messages that you can read, so the story can be explained through them. Upon careful reading and review of pantomime cut scenes we can conclude that our main character Bill has experienced so many injuries and misfortunes in his life that he prefers he fell into a coma. However, his vision of a peaceful dream evaporated very quickly when he discovered that he had just fallen into an endless nightmare, so our task was to get through all his fears and wake up from reality. Where is the therapy for this?
