Canadian studio Radical Entertainment it hasn’t been easy in the past. Back in Vivendi Games in 2006, she created an action adventure. Scarface: The world is yours which had a good rating, the players liked it, but the continuation did not happen, as in the case of the third part of the Prototype series.

However, a sequel to an indirect adaptation of Scarface with Tony Montana was in development and was supposed to work like Grand Theft Auto in Las Vegas.. We were to enjoy the city of sin with the casino and the desert surrounding it.

According to the plot, Tony Montana had to take revenge on his business partner, who became his enemy, Alejandro Sosa. Several actors from the original movie were expected to return to reprise their roles.

During the era of the second PlayStation and the first Xbox, Radical focused on licensed games. They created James Cameron’s Dark Angel for Sierra, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for Ubisoft, Hulka for Vivendi, The Simpsons: Hit & Run, CSI: Miami, Crash Tag Team Racing and, after joining Activision, the Prototype series. Prototype 2 from 2012 is their last big game. They have since become a satellite studio and have been featured in Destiny by Bungie, among other things.

At the very least, projects like Prototype 3 (2012), Spider-Man 4 (2021), Treadstone (2008), Scarface 2 (2008) or The Simpsons: Hit & Run 2 (2007) have all been cancelled.

Las Vegas seems to be cursed by game developers, a new mafia was supposed to take place in it, which was also canceled. But now there should be a prequel.
