Not only is Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition being honestly expanded so that fans can still enjoy the latest news, but the same is true Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition.
As part of this, you can count on expansion Knights of the Mediterraneanwhich, according to the latest official information, will arrive 26 of May.
In it you can count on a couple of new civilizations – Italy and Malta. Both will bring their own exclusive mechanics when, for example, the Italians will be able to build a Basilica in which they train their special papal troops, and the Maltese will offer games with gunpowder and allow the construction of a hospital.
However, along with these new settlers, you will also receive eight historical maps, however, they will be randomly generated so you can keep coming back to them. But you can also count on two additional modes: Diplomacy and Tycoon. The former will allow you to change the side you hit during multiplayer matches, which sounds very interesting. The second one, as its name suggests, will eventually bring you a slightly more relaxed game where you will focus mainly on building your civilization and combat will be moved to another lane.
You will find an accompanying sample in the preview.
