Persona seriesbuilt on the iconic Shin Megami Tensei brand holds a big place in our hearts, so we’re glad it continues to thrive.
According to SEGA’s published financial results, we concluded that the series was a success. for fiscal year 2022starting April 2021 and ending March 2022, sell 1.3 million pieceswhich includes sales of both physical and digital copies.
400,000 copies were sold in the first quarter, 300,000 in the second and third quarters, and 100,000 in the final quarter.

This figure may not seem too dizzying, especially since the brand managed to sell 3 million devices in fiscal 2021, but it should be noted that no major games have been released in the last 12 months, with the exception of PC. PS4 and Nintendo Switch are converting Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, which, however, only appeared in the second half of March.
Either way, we might just be curious about what the future will bring us, which we’re definitely looking forward to.
