8 Nintendo Indie World Announcement Highlights: Our Favorite Games and Trailers

Nintendo has once again shown us its love for independent developments with a fairly complete Nintendo Indie World. Souls-style games come in all shapes and colors, so it should come as no surprise at this point that an independent studio has chosen to create their own spirits using a crab as the protagonist. This is the fun premise of Another Crab’s Treasure, an RPG action adventure that invites us to explore the depths of the sea while battling against all kinds of creatures using the special abilities of the main crustaceans. After six years of struggling to bring this project to life, this game is scheduled for release. PC and Nintendo Switch in 2023.

Batora: Paradise Lost

Stormind Games and Team17 tandem drops into Nintendo’s presentation with a non-linear storyline that will grab us with its insanely shot-packed hack & slash mechanics. In Batora: Lost Haven, we control 16-year-old Avril, whose extraordinary powers will be needed to save the world.
