The Knights of the Mediterranean release date It’s set for May 26, 2022, so the release of this interesting addition to the already pre-ordered game is just around the corner. “Get ready to take control of the Mediterranean with two exciting civilizations: Italians and Maltese, plus newly added maps and some additional game modes,” World’s Edge said in a statement.
In Knights of the Mediterranean we therefore find:
- 2 new civilizations: Italians and Maltese
- 30 new random maps
- 9 small civilizations
- 8 historical maps
- Diplomacy game mode
- Tycoon game mode
This is why Italy becomes part of Age of Empires III, at a time when it was still very complex, made up of a number of different countries and often at war with each other. Among the special civilization cards we find Team Marco Polo, Arsenal of Venice, Machiavellian talent and more.
Malta presents itself as a fortress in the middle of the Mediterranean, focused on defending its domain against numerous threats. The new expansion is therefore expected on May 26, 2022.
