Starfield and Redfall pushed back to 2023

It has long been clear that joint action Redfall from the creators disgraced and Arkane’s Prey will miss the announced release date this summer. Even though it was a game announced a year ago during E3, we haven’t heard much about it since. But few people probably expected the vampire shooter to end up being delayed until 2023. And it was no longer possible to assume that it would be followed by a space RPG. Starfield Name: Bethesdy Game Studios.

But that is exactly what happened. Bethesda made the announcement on social media. Both Starfield and Redfall will arrive no earlier than the first half of 2023.. The reason for the postponement is traditional, the creative departments need more time to properly complete and submit both games.

In any case, it’s interesting, at least in the case of Starfield, no new specific release date was given.. Along with the announcement of Redfall from Arkane Studios, the makers of The Elder Scrolls and the new Fallouts have announced an adorable release date in conjunction with Starfield. 11/11/2022. And thanks to various interviews and promotional material, the developers, led by Todd Howard, seemed to believe they would meet that deadline. Apparently something has changed.

It can be assumed that we will see both Starfield and Redfall during Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase starting June 12, 2022 at 7pm ET.. Perhaps Bethesda, as in past years, will invite an audience that will applaud even if a fire breaks out in the building. We need to somehow mask the bitterness of disappointment of many fans from such a sudden delay.
