This has been rumored for a long time, but now we have black on white (or white on black if you’re using dark mode).

From next year, then this series renamed to EA Sports FCwhen this renaming was also due to the unwillingness to pay the International Football Association for a license.

However, the fans should definitely not be afraid. At EA Sports FC we still find all our favorite contentsuch as Ultimate Team, Career or Volta modes, as well as a portfolio of over 19,000 players, 700 teams, 100 stadiums and 30 leagues, including exclusive partners in the form of the Premier League or Bundesliga.
According to the folks at EA, change is bound to happen, but above all for the better when this new independent platform allows them to innovate, create, and evolve, which, according to previous speculation, should allow them to leave the association.
Then we will know more details about this project in July 2023.
In the meantime, we can look forward to this year’s FIFA 23 presentation, which could arrive in September or October, when EA thinks it will be the best game in the series.
