Insomniac Games has released a new update. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart taking care to introduce VRR supportThe latest “innovation” for the Sony console. This update comes after the updates of both Insomniac Games’ titles, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales.
Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart update offers the following innovations:
- VRR support via system settings
- Added 120Hz graphics mode to New Game options so you can enable before you start playing
- Improved the quality of ray-traced reflections at viewing angles in dynamic low-resolution scenarios
- TAA sample quality improvements
- Saving files uses frame captures for their icons
This VRR Ratchet & Clank has the following effects on Rift Apart:
- When 120Hz mode is not active: slightly increases dynamic resolution
- With 120Hz mode on: Unlocks variable frame rate based on game
