Developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts have announced the launch of the game.4.0 update from battlefield 2042which adds among many things VoIP functionality for teams that can now communicate more easily and fix a large amount of bugs. Also added updated scoreboard for the end of the round.

VoIP: VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) is now available in Battlefield 2042. There are two voice chat channels to choose from: Group and Team. VoIP settings can be adjusted via Options > Sound / Audio > In-Game Chat.
Scoreboard: With the 3.3 update, the interface of the scoreboard has been renewed. After this update, the UI update will now be available on the end of shift screens as well.
Changes and bug fixes: This update includes several hundred changes and bug fixes derived from the feedback loop with our community. The most notable changes include complements, a fix for animating near objects, and a fix for an issue that prevented you from using targeted fire after exiting a vehicle. DICE is also a New update for the month of MayIt will fix other bugs and bring other improvements before Season 1.
Battlefield 2042 is available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PS4 and PS5.
