through the pages of the official website Gran Turismo 7Polyphony Digital announces its fourth edition Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup. The competition will start from now May 15 and will continue with seven qualifying rounds played with online races in the following months, with the final set for November, when the top 24 drivers will compete from a live event.
To participate, of course, you need a PS4 or PS5 copy of Gran Turismo 7 and you must be over six years old (minimum age may vary according to each country’s rules). As stated at the beginning, it will be necessary to play to reach the final seven online racescharacterized by certain parts and cars.
Here are the dates of the online tours. Every race will take place 19:00 Italian and Gran Turismo 7 will need to be accessed 15 minutes early via Sport mode.
- 1st round: May 15 – SF19 Super Formula – Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium)
- 2nd cycle: May 22 – Toyota Supra GT500 ’97 (Castrol TOM’S) – Suzuka Circuit (Japan)
- 3rd round: 5 June – GR010 HYBRID – Circuit de la Sarthe (France)
- 4th round: 3 July – SF19 Super Formula – Nürburgring GP (Germany)
- 5th round: July 24 – GR86 / Subaru BRZ – Autopolis (Japan)
- 6th round: 14 August – GR Supra – Fuji International Speedway (Japan)
- 7th round: 28 August – GR Yaris – time to be determined
Finally end It will be an offline event that will take place in November (dates and times will be announced with more details on vehicles and track) and will run concurrently with the Gran Turismo World Series. A limited number of drivers will be selected for each region based on the performance of previous laps. A total of 9 pilots will be selected, especially from Europe / Middle East / Africa.
