Final Fantasy 14 patch 6.1: Newfound Adventure available, lots of additional content

Final Fantasy 14 expands again with the arrival of a new one Newfound Adventure patch 6.1bringing with it countless additional content among missions, options and game systems, special events and more.

As we reported talking about the update’s release date and trailer, patch 6.1 represents a real new chapter for the famous MMORPG Square Enix, both in terms of online multiplayer and single adventure, given the amount of material that characterizes it.

  • New Role Quest: An additional story will be available after completing all Endwalker role quests
  • Mission Support System for A Realm Reborn: The dungeons and trials of the main storyline of A Realm Reborn (2.0) can now be completed with NPCs as party members
  • New Dungeon: An additional dungeon will be accessible in patch 6.1’s main story quest
  • New Trial – “The Minstrel’s Ballad: The Endsinger’s Aria”: Players can challenge themselves with the new Extreme Trial, The Minstrel’s Ballad: Endsinger’s Aria
  • Unreal Trial – “Ultima’s Bane (Unreal)”: Relive the battle against the mecha of legend in this challenge on Unreal difficulty
  • New Alliance Raid – “Myths of the Realm”: The first episode of a new 24-player alliance raid, Myths of the Realm: Aglaia encourages players to learn more about the gods known as “The Twelve”.
  • New PvP Content – “Crystalline Conflict”: Crystalline Conflict is a small scale PvP available to all players level 30 and above. Patch 6.1 also includes updates to PvP actions and adds a new PvP reward system
  • New Empyreum Settlement: Numerous items can be purchased in Empyreum, Ishgard’s new settlement
  • Adventurer Plates (beta): Create and customize character profiles and plate designs using Adventurer Plates. Character profiles can now contain a variety of information such as the player’s preferred occupation and title, preferred playstyle, active game hours, and more.
  • Portraits (beta): Capture the look of your Light Warrior by customizing poses, movements, camera angles, backgrounds, frames, lighting and more. You can save a number of different portraits and choose one to apply to your Adventurer Plate.
  • The Endless Codex: As you progress through the main story of patch 6.1, a host of information about characters and terms from patch 6.0 will be added to player collections.
  • New Game+ Update: You can rework the already completed missions, cutscenes, dialogues, and battles of Endwalker and part of patch 6.1 with the current character while maintaining its level.
  • New Gear and Mounts – Collaboration with GARO: PvP gear inspired by the popular Japanese TV show “GARO” returns in patch 6.1. It will be possible to obtain mounts and special equipment inspired by the show and created by legendary character designer Keita Amemiya. New professions introduced with Shadowbringers™ and Endwalker will now be able to use this collaboration’s equipment.
  • Various other updates: In patch 6.1, new content has been added including class changes, new hairstyles for Hrothgar, more charm, the ability to try items from the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Store, and more.
