Coming soon software update firmware of the controller DualSense will also come Windows and Mac. No statement was made by Sony, but the EULA (end user license agreement) of the software appeared online, then removed by Sony, but hiding it from Google’s cache revealed this important news.
To date, DualSense FirmWare can only be updated by switching from PS5. This is an important limitation, especially for those who want to use it without owning a console, as the controller can also be used with PCs and Macs.
The EULA obviously doesn’t say much about the functionality of the software, it just defines its legal limits.
Of course, there is still no official status, but the fact that the license agreement was originally featured on the PlayStation website should leave little doubt as to the validity of the news. However, when trying to reach the page it currently appears on, you encounter a 404 error, so there is no mention of downloads at the moment. We just have to wait.
