As we mentioned in our Kingdom Hearts 4 preview, so the trailer for Sora’s new adventure was made with the old version of the Epic Games graphics engine and still left a good impression.
Through their Famitsu pages, Square Enix has once again confirmed that the game’s development will move to Unreal Engine 5. development team already testing in the new graphics engine, and as a result, “the quality of lighting and details will be much higher” than we saw yesterday.
Kingdom Hearts 4 is currently in development at Square Enix’s Osaka studios, the same creators of the previous episode, once again headed by Tetsuya Nomura. The producer explained that, among other things, he was initially hesitant about making a new adventure starring Sora or a project connected to the world of Verum Rex and the character Yozora.
