this voice actor from Geralt of Rivia In The Witcher video game series – Doug Cockle – has not yet contacted CD Projekt RED for a remake of The Witcher, but he will certainly be ready to play the Polish witcher role (figuratively).
Asked Doug Cockle? i would like to come back He’s about to voice the witcher for the version of The Witcher that CD Projekt announced in October. “I instantly made myself available,” Cockle replied.
However, Cockle explained CD Projekt has yet to contact him for this role.. “I know as well as you do now,” Cockle continued, adding that all he knew was that it was the first Witcher remake and CD Projekt used Unreal Engine 5. So Cockle doesn’t know if CD Projekt exists. whether it actually re-records the dialogue from the original The Witcher or reuses existing audio.
Eurogamer’s interview with Cockle continues by assuming the reasons for and against CD Projekt’s dialogue recording, and rightly points out that the budget of the games has increased significantly after the first episode, and so has the cost of the players. But it may seem strange that after all these years, the team decided to change his voice, considering how loved Geralt was.
