Santa Monica Studio God of War has just finished work on Ragnarok (excluding post-release patches), but that doesn’t mean it’s sitting idle. The team definitely has gods plans for the future and second barlogThe team is currently looking in multiple directions.
Cory Barlog I spoke to the LA Times last week. The creative director who oversaw the 2018 God of War reboot didn’t reveal much, as might be expected, and declined to go into details about projects currently in development.
Eric WilliamsThe director of God of War Ragnarok sees things a little differently. It seems Williams was quick to add that after Barlog’s comment, it wouldn’t be a shame for Sony Santa Monica to dedicate itself full-time to the God of War franchise in the future.
“I remember talking to someone from another video game company trying to get me out of here,” he said. Williams at the Los Angeles Times. “‘Do you want to be known as the God of War for the rest of your life?’ They said, Was it a big problem for you to dissuade me from this?
We don’t know what Barlog is currently working on, but for now we’ll assume we can “settle” to be able to play God of War Ragnarok. The game has a high standard, as we explained to you in our review.
