Elden Ring, the official guide postponement, marks the arrival of a DLC in early 2023

Future Press postpones the second part of the program official guide from Hand Ring in early 2023. Many saw this as a hint. DLC From FromSoftware for the game.

short corporate message with announcement Reference even if it makes an important suggestion, it explains nothing about it:

“We’re still working hard on Volume II and have made the difficult decision to postpone it to early 2023. We’re trying to include everything there is to know about the game at the time of release, making the game accurate and useful to launch.”

As you can read, we are talking about searching the completeness of the text according to the content of the game. Given that Elden Ring has been on the air for months (running until February 2022), it’s impossible not to wonder why it wouldn’t have aired if it had been released on the previously set date (December 2022).

As such, the hypothesis is that Future Press is delaying release to include the content of a potential DLC that neither From Software nor Bandai Namco (the game’s publisher) has informed players yet. Publishing in 2022 without including them would make the guide out of date in a few weeks.

Of course these should only be considered as assumptions. official approvals by the parties concerned. Meanwhile, Volume I of the official guide arrives in stores, to the delight of those who are eagerly waiting.
