PT playable on PS5 without even needing jailbreakapparently: known moderator Lance McDonald has managed to get Hideo Kojima’s famous playable teaser to work on his new Sony console with a not-so-easy process.
Last August, PT turned eight, and Hideo Kojima remembered the birth of the project, which users were able to “decipher” in record time, leaving a bitter taste in the Japanese game designer’s mouth: surprise.
“Ahahahahaha, I managed to run a PT on one PlayStation 5 updated and without jailbreak! Shit Konami! “McDonald wrote it quite colorfully, including a video of his work.
“This console has never been jailbroken, I was able to transfer a modified PS4 emulator from a jailbroken PS5 using a USB backup to unlock the game on my main PlayStation 5!”
Since the release of the PS5 jailbreak, the mod maker has been doing a series of data mining to discover the secrets of some games, including Elden Ring and Demon’s Souls.
