CD Projekt RED is working on various projects, one of which is Project Orion. Follow from cyberpunk 2077. Development will take place in North America and the Polish development team will move to Boston. Other developers will obviously be needed to carry out further stages of development. How many developers? Between 350 and 500.

Speaking to the developers at a recent financial meeting, CFO Piotr Nielubowicz “The North American studio will consist of teams working from Boston and Vancouver. The project will be supported by developers from Poland.”

“As for the total staff required for this kind of production, I think the best reference is Cyberpunk 2077, our newest product, and a good reference point when we consider the development team and future projects of this magnitude. Between 350 and 500 developers“.

This confirms that there will be one extremely large production. We weren’t particularly surprised as the team presented the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 as the game to showcase the true potential of the Cyberpunk universe.

This new game will take some time to create and in the meantime we better focus on waiting for the Phantom Liberty expansion.
