Mod maker Daemon has released the first version of the mod in question, which can be requested from this address via the Discord channel.
As you can see from the gameplay video shown on this page, the result is remarkable, although there are still some uncertainties in some scenes due to an incomplete and deep rework.
While the original version of Peter Parker was only used in the first version on PS4, starting in 2020, with the release of the Remastered version on PS5, the model has been replaced by another, at least in terms of the protagonist’s face.
The new Peter Parker is younger and clearly more like Tom Holland, as if creating a bigger seam between the movie version of Spider-Man and the video game version, even if that motivation was never explicitly stated by Sony or Insomniac Games. A large part of the users did not like the game very much, so a project similar to this mod was expected since the game’s release on PC was announced.
The daemon mod therefore reintroduces the old Peter Parker, who would be inexorably lost without this recovery, and allows PC users to choose between one version and the other considering that this version of the software is still in its infancy.
