Developed by ILMxLAB (Lucasfilm), Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition has been updated to take advantage of PSVR 2. Let’s read the details provided by Sony:
Your extraordinary adventure begins as a droid repair mechanic who crashed on the planet Batuu after the attack by the Guavian Killing Squad. From there begins a series of incredible events that show how anyone in the galaxy can be a hero.
As you experience an unforgettable adventure set in the world of Star Wars, you’ll also meet some of the most beloved characters by fans, including R2-D2, C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), Jedi Master Yoda (Frank Oz) and Hondo. Ohnaka (Jim Cummings) . You’ll also meet brand new characters such as the enthusiastic bartender Seezelslak (Bobby Moynihan), treasure hunter Lens Kamo (Karla Crome), and Guaviate Death Gang leader Tara Rashin (Debra Wilson).
Throughout the adventure, you’ll spend a lot of time at the Seezelslak tavern, and the bartender Azumel will take you to different times and places in the Star Wars galaxy with his legendary stories. Thanks to him, you’ll also take on the role of Ady Sun’Zee (Ellie Araiza), a Jedi Padawan in the stories “The Temple of Darkness” and “The Sacred Garden.” And if you’ve ever wondered what the life of a droid was like, you might finally find out by accepting a specific bounty as the IG-88 class four assassin droid (Rhys Darby) in The Bounty on Boggs Triff story.
even more interesting
Set on the edge of the Black Spire outpost of the legendary attractions of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, the game explores and transcends the physical boundaries of the parks. You’ll meet familiar characters like Mubo (Matthew Wood), the owner of the outpost’s Droid Storage, and his beloved Dok-Ondar (Cory Rouse), who will provide you with the equipment and items you need for your adventure.
Leveraging all the technology PS VR2 has to offer, the game pushes the boundaries of VR to immerse you in the world of Star Wars like never before. You will have a realistic visual experience by following the commands of the viewer and the eye, reflecting all the movements and the direction of your gaze on the game.
Sound and touch are also a core part of the experience: thanks to the haptic feedback of the PS VR2 Sense controller and headset, you can be immersed in the sound effects of 3D audio and perceive every detail. Combining all the sensory features of PS VR2, the game will allow you to experience the Star Wars universe first hand.
