During Game Status On September 14, 2022, Sony introduced (among others) a new PS5 exclusive game in the console space (or coming to PC as well): Rise of the Roninis an action game from Team Ninja. The developers later open the world and other details.
By PlayStation Blog, Team Ninja explained that this is “Team Ninja’s most ambitious and complex project to date.” To confirm this, it turns out that the game has been in development for seven years, although from the way it has explained the issue the work seems to be slow and possibly interrupted from time to time. However, the team says that progress, albeit slow, is progressing “with freedom, just like the ronin spirit.”
Team Ninja Thanks for Sony’s supportIt probably also explains why it’s a PS5-exclusive console: “We’re grateful to be able to make this announcement with PlayStation supporting us and this project over the years.”
