Daedalic Entertainment and NACON announced Lord of the Rings: Gollum it happened deferred “a few months”. As such, there is no firm release date for the adventure game dedicated to the old hobbit. We may have to wait until the beginning of 2023, too.
There official statement writes: “Daedalic Entertainment and NACON would like to thank all the players for their patience and support thus far. Over the past few years, the team has worked hard to share our vision of an extraordinary story set in a world filled with breathtaking magic and magic. We are committed to welcoming you and exploring the untold story of Gollum in a way that honors JRR Tolkien’s vision. However, to ensure the best possible experience, we have decided to delay the release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum for a few months. In the near future We will update you in full. Daedalic and NACON are grateful to their passionate community and will be happy to share this unique adventure with them soon.”
As you read, all we know for now is that we’ll find out sometime after the game comes out. As usual, official reasons they are connected with the desire to optimize the game and improve its quality.
