Finally we know release date officer God of War: Ragnarok: 9 November 2022. Sony announced it with a new gameplay trailer, which you can find at the beginning of the news. Great news for all PlayStation fans who can continue the adventures of Kratos and Atreus later this year.
The “Father and Son” cutscene lasts just 30 seconds and shows Kratos and Atreus fighting furiously against an enemy army. Kratos is then thrown into a dark forest under a blizzard. Atreus joins him and lines up close to his father to join hands and face a giant wolf (Fenrir?).
The crux of the announcement, frankly, has to do with the release date, which closes the ballet of rumors that have been holding back in recent days, amid missed announcements and absolutely unsavory episodes. Some even talked about postponing it to 2023, which is probably a hope dictated by who for what reasons, rather than information based on actual leaks. Regardless, all is well, ending with an official announcement and a nice trailer.
For the rest, we remind you that God of War Ragnarok will be released on PS5 and PS4. Those who bought the PS4 version will have to pay an extra €10 to upgrade to the PS5 version.
