God of War: Ragnarokit could be deferred, at least according to David Jaffe, the father of the original series. But the forecast was dry denial By Cory Barlog of Sony Santa Monica, who obviously thinks otherwise.
The little fight was born from a post on Twitter. JaffeThe recently started insider wrote: “Remember when a friend from Sony said that God of War: Ragnarok is still scheduled for 2022? Today another Sony official, always my friend, wrote to me that the date has not been set and it is no longer blocked. Maybe 2022, maybe not. So now we’re at 50/50. When will they announce the date?”
Quoting from the article, barlog made a dry comment”Wait a minute?“, as if she wanted to show that she didn’t believe what she was reading, but with the irony of knowing clearly when God of War: Ragnarok was coming out and if there were any issues.
After all, Barlog said Sony will announce the official launch date soon, so we’ll have to wait. Hopefully that’s how this ballet ends and we can get back to talking more about the game than when it comes out or possible delays (which can never be ignored in the world of video games).
