Square Enix’s livestream event aired tonight. Final Fantasy 7’s 25th anniversary. On this occasion, there was important news for fans of the game, among which it clearly stands out. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, “Part 2” of the Remake.
The event kicked off with the announcement of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade coming to Steam today, Friday, June 17, 2022. Not only that, the game has been optimized by Valve for the portable console-PC Steam Deck.
Next, a new trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis, a collection of mobile games from the FF7 saga, was shown, also revealing that the closed beta will be available through 2022.
But those first two announcements were just delicious appetizers for the next two courses. First surprise, Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion revealed with a trailer, Zack Fair’s remake for PSP, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC (Steam).
The event finally concluded with the announcement of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for PS5, or “Part 2” of the Remake released in 2020. The game will be available during “next winter”, about three years after the previous winter. Talking about the remake, Square Enix also announced that it will consist of three games in total.
