Atlus confirmed with an official statement Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Gold, and Persona 5 Royal will also come PS5 And Steam, as in Xbox consoles. However, these versions do not have an official release date yet, so there may be a temporary exclusivity agreement with Microsoft.
Persona 4 Golden, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and Persona 5 Strikers are already available on Steam, so it makes sense for them to come to Valve’s store as well.
In short, the Persona series, after years of being an intellectual property linked to PlayStation by double entitlement, is becoming more and more free to reach all or nearly all platforms on the market. Recently, Persona 5 Royal has been removed from the PS Plus Collection of PS4 games available for PS5. Persona 3 Portable was first released on PSP, while Persona 4 Golden was released on PS Vita.
For the rest, we remind you that Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal will be available to all Microsoft Game Pass subscribers. Persona 5 Royal will be released on October 21, 2022, and the others in 2023.
