With this 2022 update, eFootball PES loses its PES name. It is an upheaval in the world of football games which recalls what was announced by FIFA, the biggest direct competitor of Electronic Arts.

For this 2022 release, Konami has analyzed the elements that make up modern football so that they can be downloaded as faithfully as possible through simplified controls to provide football fans with a breathtaking experience on smartphones.

What are the important new features?

Konami has developed a new engine that will be common on consoles and mobile apps. As a result, (thanks to the next update) it will be possible to enjoy cross-platform games. Disputes between Pro Apple and Pro Android can be resolved directly in the field, while PlayStation owners can demonstrate their superiority to Xbox owners (or vice versa, of course). Cross-play between mobile and console will also be part of the near future.

Note that some features will be device specific and the account can only be transferred between mobile devices. As a result, switching from console to mobile or from mobile to console will be impossible.

Another innovation is related to player contracts. Each contract will have a specific date which includes approximately 365 days from the signing of the player. After this period, the player will not be suspended, but it is not possible to develop him or use him further unless he signs a 60-day contract.

Players are divided into four types: Standard, Trendy, Merited, and Legendary, which will affect their development and recruitment methods.

As mentioned earlier, Konami has also introduced new commands for basic movements or advanced tactics. To help players grasp the game, the publisher provides a list of these commands on its site with helpful video demonstrations.

Smooth jumps, but be a little careful

After a long maintenance, Konami has decided to organize a pre-season which starts today and will continue until June 16, 2022. The idea is to offer players in-game activities before the teams have finished preparing the servers for the official start of the season. 2.

eFootball 2022 is not a new game, it will be an update for eFootball PES 2021. As long as it is possible to move some of your assets from one game to another, not everything will be possible. Konami has created a separate page to understand all the details.

Another point to note is that the minimum configurations required change. For Android devices, you will need version 7.0 or higher with at least 2 GB of RAM. As for iOS devices, version 13 is required and you will need at least an iPhone 6s or a 5th generation iPad to enjoy it.
